Students can complete the corrections emphasis to better prepare themselves in the field of adult and juvenile corrections.
The Criminal Justice B.S. with an emphasis in Corrections requires a minimum of 53 credits within the major.
At least 17 upper-division (3xxx-level or higher) credits in the major must be completed through University of Minnesota Crookston.

The Criminal Justice B.S. with an emphasis in Law Enforcement requires a minimum of 59 credits within the major.

Students wishing to complete the Criminal Justice B.S. completely online must declare the Online sub-plan in addition to one of the subject area sub-plans: Corrections or Law Enforcement.
The Criminal Justice B.S. online with an emphasis in Corrections requires a minimum of 53 credits within the major. It also requires 19 upper-division (3xxx-level or higher) credits in the major must be completed through University of Minnesota Crookston.
The Criminal Justice B.S. online with an emphasis in Law Enforcement requires a minimum of 56 credits within the major. It also requires 20.5 upper-division (3xxx-level or higher) credits in the major must be completed through University of Minnesota Crookston.
The online curriculum requirements are the same as on-campus curriculum requirements with the following exceptions:
