Precision Agriculture Minor

Program description

Enabled by the growing popularity and availability of high-tech precision equipment, farmers and producers have access to more data than ever before. When implemented properly, precision agriculture management can improve the profitability and sustainability of crop production. By combining theory and practice, and bridging the disciplines of agronomy, soils, agriculture machinery management, and geographic information systems, the precision agriculture minor provides students with the foundational skills necessary to design and implement precision agriculture practices.
